As hair transplantation is very common in our country, we will provide you with all the information as Füsun Seymen Hair Transplant Consultation Center.
The most important area in hair transplantation is the donor area, which we call the donor area, between the two ears and the nape of the neck. Since it is the only area not affected by the dihydrotestosterone hormone (male hormone), the hair follicles are coded not to fall out.
The hair transplantation process consists of 3 stages:
1- Extraction Phase
After all the patient’s complete tests are done, the donor area is completely shaved. Afterwards, local anesthesia is applied by injection method. After the donor area is numb, Tumesan is applied. Tumesan is the fluids we give under the skin. Thanks to these fluids, we protect the sub-tissue, slow down bleeding and facilitate the removal process by separating the dense hair follicles. We separate the hair follicle from the skin with the help of micro punch. The hair follicles separated from the scalp are pulled out with the help of pliers. The hair follicles collected in the petri dish are arranged one by one in the same direction with 200 follicles. This stage is the process that determines the number of hair follicles. Extraction and arrangement are done at the same time. Although it varies depending on the number, in general, the extraction process takes approximately 2 to 3 hours.
2- Channel Stage
The root canal is one of the most important stages. The canal is opened with the sapphire tip technique. Sapphire tip is a diamond-like cutting tool. At this stage, the direction, angle and distribution of hair follicles are determined. If the canals are opened vertically, the image we call “grass head” appears. If they are opened too horizontally, the hair follicles
