Shaving phase in hair transplantation

The shaving phase of hair transplantation is an important part of the process and usually includes the following steps:

1. Preparation of the Donor Area: The donor area (usually the back of the neck) from which the hair will be removed from the area where hair transplantation will be performed is completely shaved. This helps the doctor get a better view and remove hair follicles more easily.

2. Patient Preferences: Some patients may not want to shave completely. In this case, it is possible to shave only the donor area for a less obvious appearance. However, it is generally recommended to shave the hair completely.

3. Hygiene and Safety: Shaving is done in a clean environment to reduce the risk of infection. Additionally, it is ensured that the instruments to be used are sterile.

5. Final Check: After the shaving process is completed, the doctor checks the donor area and the patient is taken to the transplantation room.
